All blog articles, free downloadable guides, and publicly accessible content on our website are provided free of charge and are not eligible for refunds.
1.2 Digital Courses and Tutorial Downloads
For digital courses, tutorial packages, and downloadable content:
- 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not downloaded more than 30% of the content.
- Refund Process: To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number and reason for dissatisfaction.
- Refund Exclusions: Once digital content has been substantially downloaded or accessed, refunds will not be issued due to the nature of digital products.
2. Makeup Services
2.1 Deposits and Booking Fees
For makeup appointments and services:
- Non-Refundable Deposits: All booking deposits (typically 30% of the service price) are non-refundable as they secure your appointment time.
- Cancellation with Notice: If you cancel your appointment with more than 48 hours' notice, the remaining balance will not be charged, but the deposit will be retained.
- Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in a charge of 50% of the remaining service fee in addition to the non-refundable deposit.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a charge for the full service amount.
2.2 Bridal Services
For bridal makeup services:
- Booking Retainer: The initial booking retainer (typically 50% of the total service cost) is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 60 days or more before the wedding date will not incur additional charges beyond the non-refundable retainer.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 60 days before the wedding date will result in a charge for the full contracted amount.
- Date Changes: Wedding date changes are subject to our availability and may incur an additional administrative fee of £75 if made less than 90 days before the original date.
2.3 Satisfaction Guarantee for Services
If you are not completely satisfied with your makeup service:
- You must express your concerns during or immediately after the service while still on premises.
- Our artist will make reasonable adjustments to address your concerns at no additional cost.
- If adjustments cannot resolve the issue to your satisfaction, we may offer a partial refund or credit toward future services at our discretion.
3. Workshops and In-Person Training
3.1 Workshop Registration
- Cancellation by Participant: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date are eligible for a full refund less a £25 administrative fee.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made 7-14 days before the workshop date are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Very Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to another person or a future workshop date (subject to availability and a £25 transfer fee).
3.2 Workshop Cancellation by GrassLandview
If we need to cancel a workshop:
- You will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
- Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your registration to a future workshop date.
- GrassLandview is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred due to workshop cancellation.
4. Physical Products
4.1 Makeup Products
For makeup products purchased directly from our website or studio:
- Unopened Products: May be returned within 30 days of purchase with original receipt for a full refund or exchange.
- Opened Products: Due to hygiene concerns, opened or used makeup products cannot be returned unless they are defective.
- Defective Products: If you receive a defective product, contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the defect for a replacement or refund.
4.2 Tools and Accessories
For makeup brushes, tools, and accessories:
- Unused Items: May be returned within 30 days of purchase with original packaging and receipt for a full refund or exchange.
- Used Items: Brushes and tools that show signs of use cannot be returned unless they are defective.
- Defective Items: If you receive a defective tool or accessory, contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos of the defect for a replacement or refund.
5. Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits
- Gift cards and merchandise credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Gift cards expire 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Lost or stolen gift cards may be replaced with proof of purchase and the original gift card number.
6. Refund Processing
- Refund Method: Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing Time: Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process, depending on your payment provider.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
